About The Filmmakers

Director and Writer Matt Allair is a filmmaker, and published short story writer for Sley House Publishing. He is the creator and editor-in-Chief of The X-Files Lexicon website, he and his team have been consultants for Blu-ray extras on X-Files media. In the past, he has written articles for Den of Geek and Celeb Magazine. His prior film work has included documentaries, and projects for private clients.

Producer Jeff Darby is a filmmaker who is a highly regarded, and award-winning sound designer who currently works at Sony. His work has included the God Of War series, Twisted Metal, Spider-Man; Miles Morales, and Ratchet & Clank. His older work includes Slaughterhouse Of The Rising Sun.

"Roads" is a tale about an amateur paranormal investigator named Barry, who hears legends about poltergeist activity near a farm, and he visits, but it is more than he bargained for and it get's out of hand. The film is also a brief meditation on Faith. The film is primarily told as found footage via an HD Dash Camera. This is a 10 minute short piece. It can be described as a Meta modernist take on Blair Witch.

The project has already built up a talented circle of people committed to its telling. We hope to shoot before the end of this summer, and the funds raised to help complete the post-production aspect to the film. There's a commitment to a verisimilitude that will drive the project, that will leave people feeling it is 'plausible'. A great, young actor has been recruited for the piece.
